Miss Universe 2018 has already declared this year winner. For this year’s competition, Miss Philippine bring back the crown to the Philippines because Catriona Gray is Miss Universe 2018. She really nailed the whole pageant and gave such a remarkable presence in the stage of Miss Universe.

1st. Catriona Gray was born in Australia. What made her a Filipino? This is because her mother is a Filipino while on the other hand her father is an Australian. Her mother, Normita Magnayon, comes from Oas town, Albay in the Philippines while his father was born in Scotland.

2nd. Our own Miss Universe 2018 is not just a beauty and brain. She is also an athlete because she has a black belt in Taekwondo. Not just sports but this girl also can sings really well.

3rd. She holds a master’s certificate in Music Theory from the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

4th. Apart from being this year’s Miss Univers, Catriona Gray was crowned as Little Miss Philippines way back when she was 5 years old at Sydney.

5th. This girl also was hailed as Miss World Philippines last 2016. She finished in the top five of Miss World on that same year as well.

6th. Gray also started doing commercials and she starred in her first commercial when she was 16 years old.

7th. Miss Universe 2018 loves traveling. Actually this is one of her hobbies and did you know that Gray moved with her mother here in the Philippines when she turned 18. She earned money for the plane ticket by herself from her modeling gigs.

8th. Palawan is her favorite place in the Philippines. This girls is an island girl, loving the beach at its finest.

9th. Being a Filipino, Gray also said that adobo and balut are her favorite to eat when in the Philippines.

10th. This girl is also has a pure heart. She started her own charity project as well. The name of her project is “Paraiso: The Bright Beginnings Project”. Her organizations aims to raise funds to build a preschool in Tondo, Manila’s Smokey Mountain – one of the Philippines most poverty-stricken areas.
