Korean Actor Lee Min-ho Is Now Done With Mandatory Military Service

Korean actor Lee Min Ho has completed his mandatory military service last April 25, 2019.

According to a Korean entertainment news company, He enlisted in the military last year on May 12. As he exited from the military, Lee Min Ho was greeted by hundreds of fans with balloons and signs in tow.

In return, the Korean super star waved at his fans and did a 90 degree bow, a gesture to show humility and respect.

The Korean actor has not released any comments regarding his discharge but is said to be carefully considering his possible comeback project.

He was seen wearing a simple white shirt and a black blazer. He was also wearing a black face mask, which Korean celebrities wear most of the time. Of course, he looked fresh and handsome as always!

His fans are excited to see what his next project would be now that he is back. He was last seen on a TV series and a film in 2016.

According to his talent agency MYM Entertainment, “He is reviewing several different projects.”

They also posted a congratulatory message for Lee on their Facebook page.

“Today, Lee Min-Ho,an actor we’ve been waiting for a long time, is coming back to us. Please continue showing your love and interest for him and he will say hello with a better look.”

On April 27, 2019, another Korean actor, JI Chang Wook, was also discharged from the military.

Other Korean celebrities will also be discharged later this year including Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, 2PM’s Taecyeon, and famous Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun. BIGB4NG’s T.O.P, G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung will also complete their military service in 2019.

Lee rose to fame when he starred in the hit Korean drama “Boys Over Flowers” in 2009.

Since then, he was part of several popular TV dramas such as “Personal Preference” with actress Son Ye-Jin and “The Inheritors” with actress Park Shin-Ye.

In 2016, he starred in the melodrama “Legend of the Blue Sea” with Jun Ji-Hyun. He also made the action-comedy film “Bounty Hunt3r.”
