Lee Hwan-kyung’s Miracle in Cell No. 7 has made waves internationally when the movie made it big after it became
the 10th-highest-grossing domestic film of all time in South Korea. The movie’s story revolves around Yong-Goo, a man who has the intelligence of a child, who lived alone with his daughter, Ye-Seung. The movie takes a dark turn when he gets accused of kidnapping and killing a child, who was the same age as his daughter. He sadly dies in the end. To prove her father’s innocence, Ye-Seung studied hard to become a lawyer and clear her father’s name.
Recently, news of a Pinoy version of the said movie has many Korean drama fans hyped. Bela Padilla will be taking the role of the child, while Aga Muhlach will be holding the titular role of Yong-Goo. Other actors like JC Santos, Joel Torre, Soliman Cruz, Jojit Lorenzo, and Mon Confiado, are part of the all-star cast.
