Chips are on of the most crave snacks of all time. As part of it, one of the best provider of chips here in the Philippines is Universal Robina Corporation or URC. Universal Robina Corporation is a Philippine company based in Pasig, Philippines. It is one of the largest food and beverage companies in the Philippines.
Yet one Facebook post about URC’s Jack N’ Jill product named Roller Coaster is now trending? Why?
According to the said post by Jezra Deniega Dometita they saw a over fried roller coaster chip inside. In line with that they wrote an email to URC asking why there is a over fried chip inside. Luckily after it, URC responded very quick about the issue.
“Thank you for taking time to e-mail us regarding your concern below, we apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you. Kindly provide the following needed information so that we can get back to you immediately and help you with your concern.”
This is what is inside the reply of the said company.
Apart from that they are asking for the address of the compliant.
Want to know what happened next?
URC gave them a box of chips as a payment for the damage they cause. On the photo you can clearly see a package from LBC and when they opened it, it is full of different URC chips.
In the caption of the post, Jezra thanked URC for giving them so many chips.
This kind of scenario is indeed rare but kudos to the action made by URC to make this issue not a big deal anymore. I wonder if it will also happen to me. Who would not love to receive boxes of chips, right?
